- 2 c. dark Karo
- 1 stick oleo
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. pecans
- 2 c. sugar
- 8 eggs, beaten well
- 1 pinch salt
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2This recipe makes 2 (9-inch) deep dish pies.

3Mix all ingredients except pecans well.

4Fold in pecans. Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake until set, approximately 45 minutes to an hour.

5Center of pie will be slightly runny, but done when knife inserted comes out with grainy consistency.
