  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest, finely grated

  • 3 large eggs, free of yolk, room temperature
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar, sifted if lumpy
  • 1/2 cup orange marmalade or 1/2 cup other preserves
