- 250 g butter
- 250 g sugar

- 250 g cake flour
- 12 g baking powder
Directions

1Using a medium size bowl, With bare hands, mix butter and sugar.

5Add gradually to butter mixture using a cut and fold motion.

6Using a 2 round baking pans (8-inch), brush with shortening and dust little flour.

7Divide the mixture and pour into pans.

8Even out using pastry scraper.

9Bake in 170C for 15 minutes.

10Check with wooden toothpick.

11Even out both baked cakes using a bread knife.

12Fill in one baked cake with jam.

13And place other cake on top.

14Dust with powdered sugar.
