  • 2 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 2 c. milk
  • 2 c. finely chopped Vidalia onions

Directions

    Combine all ingredients, except onions (batter will be thin). Stir in onions, mixing well.

    Pour into well-greased iron skillet and bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
