- 12 beets (I use can beets)
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 c. vinegar
Directions

1Mix sugar and cornstarch well.

2Add vinegar and mix.

3Put on stove in heavy pan and boil 5 minutes.

4Pour over cubed beets and add 1 tablespoon butter.

5Let stand on back of stove 1/2 hour before serving.
