- 34 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons flour
- 1 12 cups water
- 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 14 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
Directions

1in a small saucepan, whisk together the sugar and flour.

2slowly add the water, whisking constantly.

3bring to a boil and cook over medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring from time to time.

4remove from the heat and stir in the vinegar, butter and nutmeg.

5let cool.

6store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
