  • 34 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons flour
  • 1 12 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 14 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg

Directions

    in a small saucepan, whisk together the sugar and flour.

    slowly add the water, whisking constantly.

    bring to a boil and cook over medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring from time to time.

    remove from the heat and stir in the vinegar, butter and nutmeg.
