- 2 medium apples
- 14 cup red-hot candies
- 34 cup water
- 14 cup sugar
- 14 cup butter, softened
- 12 cup sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 12 cup milk
- 14 cup brown sugar
Directions

1Combine first 4 ingredients in saucepan.

2Cook for 5 minutes, remove from heat and cool.

3Creat together the butter and 1/2 cup sugar until fluffy.

4Stir in sifted flour, baking powder and salt, alternating with milk and beat until smooth.

5Pour into an 8 inch square baking pan.

6Spoon the fruit (fruit only) from the saucepan mixture over the batter and sprinkle with the brown sugar.

7Pour the fruit JUICE from the saucepan mixture over the top of the brown sugar.

8Bake for 45-50 minutes at 375 degrees.

9Serve this while warm and it makes it extra delicious if served with whipped topping or ice cream!
