  • 1 box (16 Oz. Box) Penne Pasta
  • 1/2 cups Chopped Onion
  • 3 cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 cup Vodka
  • 1 can (14 Oz. Can) Chicken Stock
  • 1 can (28 Oz. Can) Crushed Or Diced Tomatoes
  • 1/2 cups Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 20 leaves Fresh Basil

    Heat large pan over medium heat.

    Add oil and saute onions and garlic for 3-5 minutes.

    Add vodka, cooking for 5 minutes, reducing by half.

    Add chicken stock and tomatoes.

    Simmer.

    In the meantime, stat a pot of water for your pasta.

    When that comes to a boil, add pasta.

    To your tomato sauce, add the cream and simmer, stirring frequently.

    Once your pasta is done, drain it and tear up the basil leaves and toss with the hot pasta.

    Add to the sauce and youre done!

    Note: the longer you simmer this sauce (before or after the cream is added), the thicker it will get.
