Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 c. diced celery
  • 2 c. uncooked rice (Minute rice)
  • 2 (16 oz.) cans chicken broth
  • onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste
  • cornstarch (to thicken broth)
  • 1 small can crushed pineapple
  • 1 small onion, chopped and diced
  • 1 can La Choy chow mein noodles
  • 1 c. coconut
  • 1/2 to 1 c. sunflower kernels

    Prepare chicken by boiling it and debone and dice.

    Cool chicken.

    Thicken broth with cornstarch.

    Prepare rest of ingredients into individual bowls.

    Prepare the rice.

    It takes about 5 minutes.

    Place on plate in following order:

    rice, chicken, gravy, pineapple, onion, celery, sunflower kernels, coconut, chow mein noodles and gravy again.
