  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 3 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 5 Tbsp. melted oleo
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla

Directions

    Sift flour, soda, salt, cocoa and sugar into ungreased 8 x 8-inch pan. Spread around.

    Make 3 wells in the mixture.

    In one, put the oleo, another the vinegar and another the vanilla.

    Pour 1 cup cold water over all and mix well.

    Bake at 350° for 25 to 35 minutes. Cool and frost in pan.

    Use any kind of icing.
