  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. oil
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. cold water

Directions

    Measure out and combine all ingredients in large mixing bowl; mix thoroughly until blended with spoon (not electric mixer); pour into greased 9 x 12-inch pan.

    Bake at 350° for 40 minutes, or until cake springs back when touched; let cool and top with white or chocolate frosting.
