- 9/16 cup butter
- 2 cups flour
- 4 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- salt
- 1 egg
- 3 tablespoons rum
Directions

1Melt the butter and set aside to cool.

2Mix the flour, sugar, brown sugar, and a pinch of salt.

3Make a well, add the egg and the rum,. Start mixing and add the melted butter. Knead until you obtain a smooth dough ball, but slightly sticky. Cover the dough with a plastic film and refrigerate for 4 hours minimum.

4Form small balls of dough that you flatten slightly before placing them in a hot waffle maker. Let the waffles cool down on a rack (they will become harder as they cool down).
