Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz.) or 2 pkg. Jell-O
  • dash of salt
  • 1 1/2 c. boiling water
  • 1 c. cold water
  • ice
  • 1 peeled apple or pear
  • 2 sliced bananas
  • 1/2 c. cherries, sliced
  • 1/2 c. sliced celery
  • 1/2 c. walnuts (optional)

Directions

    Completely dissolve gelatin and salt in boiling water. Combine cold water and ice to make 2 1/2 cups.

    Add gelatin, stirring until thick.

    Remove unmelted ice.

    Combine fruit, celery and nuts.

    Chill at least 1 hour.
