  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. chopped walnuts
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Sift together flour, salt and baking soda.

    Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

    Add eggs, one at a time, beating until smooth.

    At low speed, stir in flour mixture.

    Fold in walnuts, vanilla and sour cream.

    Turn batter into greased and floured 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.

    Bake at 350° for 45 to 55 minutes. Cool in pan 10 minutes, then invert onto wire rack.
