Walnut Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. shoyu sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/4 c. beer
  • 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1 lb. boneless chicken
  • 1/3 c. sliced green onions
  • 1 (8 oz.) box fresh mushrooms
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 c. broken walnuts

Directions

    Combine shoyu sauce, sugar, beer, ginger, garlic and chicken in a bowl.

    Marinate for approximately 30 minutes.

    Heat oil in wok or skillet and add chicken.

    Stir-fry until chicken is cooked and soy mixture begins to coat chicken.

    Add green onions, mushrooms and walnuts.

    Cook 3 minutes, tossing mixture with slotted spoon.

    Serves 4 portions.
