- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 each eggs well beaten
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cups flour, all-purpose
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 cup nuts chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions

1Cream butter with sugar.

3Beat thoroughly.

4Sift flour, measure, and sift with baking powder and salt.

5Add alternately with milk to the creamed mixture.

8Pour into a shallow well oiled baking pan.

9Bake in moderate oven (375 F) for 30 minutes.
