- 1 c. butter, softened
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. walnuts, finely chopped
- chocolate glaze, chocolate jimmies or flaked coconut
Directions

1In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until smooth.

2Add vanilla; blend well.

3Gradually blend in flour.

4Stir in nuts. Shape a spoonful of dough into rolls about 3 inches long.

5Place on an ungreased baking sheet.

6Pull ends down to form a crescent. Bake at 350° for 15 to 16 minutes or until golden brown.

7Cool slightly on pan.

8Remove to wire rack to cool completely.

9Dip ends in chocolate glaze and then in jimmies or coconut.
