- 1/4 c. powdered sugar
- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 1 c. finely chopped walnuts
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
- 1/2 c. powdered sugar for topping
Directions

1Cream sugar and butter.

2Add nuts and vanilla.

3Mix in flour to make a smooth dough.

4Pinch off balls 1 1/2-inch in diameter. Form into crescents.

5Bake 15 to 18 minutes at 350°.

6Cool 5 minutes and roll in powdered sugar.

7Makes about 50.
