  • 2 cans whole water chestnuts
  • 1 lb. bacon
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. catsup
  • 1/4 c. mayonnaise

Directions

    Slice each bacon slice in thirds.

    Wrap each chestnut in 1/3 slice bacon.

    Place in 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 425° for 25 minutes.

    Drain well.

    Combine brown sugar, catsup and mayonnaise.

    Pour over chestnuts and bake an additional 15 minutes.

    Insert toothpick in each to serve.
