  • 2 c. lukewarm water
  • 2 pkg. yeast
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 4 c. flour
  • 4 Tbsp. shortening
  • 3 1/2 to 4 c. flour

Directions

    Work first 7 ingredients into a dough and add rest of flour. Place in refrigerator until ready to use.

    Make rolls and let rise 2 hours.

    Bake at 450°.
