  • 9-inch unbaked pie shell
  • 1 pkg. watercress (discard stem)
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 c. cooked, crumbled sausage (optional)
  • 1 c. cheese, grated (can use cheese pkg. that comes in macaroni and cheese boxes)
  • 2 to 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • salt to taste

Directions

    Saute watercress in butter.

    Mix with all other ingredients. Pour in unbaked pie shell.

    Bake at 350°

    for 45 minutes.
