- 1 c. butter or margarine (room temperature)
- 1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 2 1/4 c. sifted flour
- 3/4 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Cream margarine and powdered sugar.

2Stir in vanilla and salt. Add flour gradually.

3Work in nuts thoroughly.

4Chill dough 1 hour.

5Form 1-inch balls.

6Bake on ungreased baking sheet at 400° for 10 to 12 minutes.

7Dough should be set, but not brown.

8Roll while warm in sifted powdered sugar.

9Cool, then roll in powdered sugar again.
