- 1 cup butter or 1 cup margarine, softened
- 1 14 cups powdered sugar, sifted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups flour, sifted
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup pecans, finely chopped
- powdered sugar
Directions

1Cream together the butter, powdered sugar and vanilla.

2Add the flour and salt gradually to creamed mixture.

3Add the chopped nuts making sure everything is mixed throughly.

4Shape into 2 - 1 1/4 inch in diameter rolls.

5Wrap in wax paper and place in fridge for several hours.

6Cut into 1/4 inch slices, place on ungreased baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until slightly browned.

7Remove from cookie sheet and roll in powdered sugar; place on rack and let cool.
