  • 2 lbs lean ground chuck
  • 1 garlic clove, mashed
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 12 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 14 cup onion flakes
  • 8 smoked link frankfurters, skinless
  • 8 bacon, strips
  • 1 tablespoon pepper, coarseley ground
  • 8 hot dog buns

Directions

    Combine ground chuck, garlic, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce and onions; blend well.

    Shape meat into 8 flat patties.

    Wrap patties around frankfurters, pinching edges to enclose frankfurters, leaving ends of frankfurters exposed.

    Wrap bacon strips around ground meat.

    Dust bacon with pepper.

    Place weenieburgers 6-8 inches above gray coals, grilling them 10 minutes on each side, or until bacon is crisp and brown.

    Toast hot dog buns over coals.
