- 1 tsp. homemade mustard
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. fresh white bread crumbs
- 1 egg yolk
- 4 oz. strong Cheddar cheese, grated
- 3 Tbsp. beer
- 3 slices hot buttered toast
Directions

1This mixture should not boil.

2Melt butter in saucepan.

3Add mustard, salt and pepper.

5Add bread crumbs and stir over gentle heat.

6Add egg yolk. Put in cheese and stir until melted. Mix in beer.
