  • white potatoes (amount depending on number of servings)
  • 2 Tbsp. butter (increase for larger amounts of potatoes)
  • 1 onion
  • salt and pepper

Directions

    Peel and slice potatoes (approximately 1/8-inch thick).

    Place butter in frying pan and melt over low heat (do not burn).

    Put in potatoes and chopped onion with small amount of water.

    Salt and pepper to taste.

    Cook until potatoes are tender and water has boiled away.

    (If too much water when potatoes are done, turn up heat and watch until water absorbs.)

    Do not brown.
