- white potatoes (amount depending on number of servings)
- 2 Tbsp. butter (increase for larger amounts of potatoes)
- 1 onion
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Peel and slice potatoes (approximately 1/8-inch thick).

2Place butter in frying pan and melt over low heat (do not burn).

3Put in potatoes and chopped onion with small amount of water.

4Salt and pepper to taste.

5Cook until potatoes are tender and water has boiled away.

6(If too much water when potatoes are done, turn up heat and watch until water absorbs.)

7Do not brown.
