  • dark brown sugar
  • green apples or sour cherries
  • butter or margarine
  • toasted wheat germ

Directions

    Place approximately 1 1/2-inches of either fruit in baking pan.

    Thoroughly mix together wheat germ and brown sugar in equal amounts, enough to cover thickly.

    Cut thin pats of butter and cover top thickly.

    Bake at 350° for 1/2 hour.

    Quantity is easily adjusted to servings desired.
