- 1/2 c. warm water
- 2 pkg. active dry yeast
- 1 1/2 c. lukewarm milk
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. shortening, very soft
- about 7 to 7 1/2 c. flour, at least 1/2 whole wheat
Directions

1Mix first 7 ingredients well; use rotary beater.

2Stir in flour.

3Cover with damp cloth; let rise until double.

4Punch down; let rise again.

5Divide into rolls.

6Let rise until double.

7Bake 25 minutes at 400°.
