- 1 c. butter
- 2 1/2 c. sugar
- 6 eggs
- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. whipping cream
- 1 1/2 tsp. lemon extract
Directions

1Let butter and eggs stand at room temperature for 1/2 hour. Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

2Add eggs, one at a time, beating 1 minute after each egg.

3Beat cream until stiff peaks form.

4Add flour and cream alternately to egg mixture.

5Beat well.

6Beat in lemon extract.

7Pour batter into greased 10-inch tube pan.

8Bake at 300° for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
