  • 3 c. sugar
  • 3 c. plain flour, sifted
  • 6 eggs, at room temperature
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla or lemon extract
  • 2 sticks butter, at room temperature
  • 1 small carton whipping cream (heavy or light)

Directions

    Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.

    Add eggs one at a time. Add extract.

    Alternately add flour and whipping cream.

    Pour in well greased tube pan.

    Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 20 to 30 minutes.
