- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 3/4 c. warm water
- 2 c. luke warm milk
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. shortening
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 7 to 8 c. flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water.

2Stir milk, sugar, shortening, salt and four cups flour.

3Beat until smooth.

4Add enough flour to make dough easy to handle.

5Knead for 10 minutes.

6Place in greased bowl.

7Let rise one hour; knead again.

8Make loaves; put in greased pans.

9Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 425°.
