- 7 slices White Bread
- 1 cup Milk- Scalded
- 6 Tablespoons Butter
- 1 whole Onion, Chopped
- 1 bunch Parsley, Chopped
- 2 whole Eggs
- 1/4 teaspoons Salt
- 1/4 teaspoons White Pepper
- 1/4 teaspoons Nutmeg
Directions

1Slice the bread; place in a bowl and pour the boiling milk over top.

2In a small saucepan, cook the onion gently in butter until it is translucent. Remove from the heat; add the parsley.

3In a bowl, combine all the ingredients to form a smooth batter.

4Shape into balls; poach in water or broth for about 20 minutes.

5Drain and serve hot.
