  • 1 1/4 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. (1 1/2 sticks) butter or margarine, softened
  • 3 1/4 c. cake flour

  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 3 large eggs
