- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. (1 1/2 sticks) butter or margarine, softened
- 3 1/4 c. cake flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 3 large eggs

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Grease and flour three 8-inch cake pans.

3In a 2-quart saucepan over low heat, heat white chocolate and milk, stirring frequently, until chocolate melts and mixture is smooth.

4Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
