- 5 large eggs, beaten well
- 1/2 lb. butter
- 1 c. white sugar
- 1 3/4 c. plain flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 lb. glazed pineapple
- 1 lb. glazed cherries
- 4 c. chopped pecans
- 1/2 oz. vanilla
- 1/2 oz. lemon flavor
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.

2Add eggs to butter and sugar mixture.

3Mix fruit with some flour.

4Sift remaining flour and baking powder; mix well and then add flavors, fruits and nuts. Pour into lined tube pan.

5Put into cold oven and bake at 250° for 3 hours.

6After cake is cool, wrap with a cloth soaked in brandy.
