- 1 1/2 Tbsp. corn syrup
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 to 3 egg whites
Directions

1In a saucepan mix sugar, corn syrup, vanilla, cream of tartar, salt and boiling water.

2Boil 3 to 5 minutes.

3Beat egg whites until stiff.

4Slowly pour boiling syrup over stiffly beaten egg whites.

5Continue beating until very stiff.
