  • 1 lb. butter
  • 1 1/2 lb. sugar (3 1/2 c.)
  • 1 1/2 lb. plain flour (6 c.)
  • 12 eggs
  • 2 1/2 lb. candied pineapple, chopped fine
  • 2 1/2 lb. candied cherries, chopped fine
  • 2 1/2 lb. pecans, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla flavoring
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon flavoring
  • 1 Tbsp. almond flavoring
  • 1 Tbsp. butter flavoring

    Cream sugar and butter.

    Add eggs two at a time, beating after each time.

    Add flavorings.

    Sift flour over cut up fruit and nuts.

    Mix thoroughly.

    Pour batter over this and mix well.

    Line two tube pans with well-greased brown paper and divide the batter into them.
