Ingredients

  • 5 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 lb. butter or margarine
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Cook flour and milk until thick (will be solid) and cool completely.

    Cream butter with sugar and cooled white sauce, beat until foamy.

    Add vanilla.

    This will not get sugary or crusty. Freezes well.
