- 1/4 tsp. white pepper (optional)
- 2 c. milk
Directions

1Place margarine in a 1-quart glass bowl.

2Microwave, uncovered, on High for 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 minutes or until melted.

3Stir in flour, salt and pepper making a smooth paste.

4Gradually add milk, blending well.

5Microwave, uncovered, on Medium for 6 to 9 minutes or until sauce is thickened and bubbly, stirring occasionally. Makes 2 cups.
