- 2 medium squash, grated
- 1 small onion, grated
- 1 c. crushed saltines
- 3 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 1/2 tsp. sweet basil (dried)
- 3/4 to 1 c. evaporated milk
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Grate squash on coarse grater.

2Grate onion on medium grater. Mix all ingredients together to the consistency of custard.

3Add salt and pepper to taste.

4Put in buttered casserole dish and bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
