  • 5 Tbsp. flour
  • 5 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Mix flour and sugar and slowly stir in milk.

    Stirring constantly, cook over low heat until mixture is very thick and has boiled about 1 minute.

    Chill.

    Cream butter and gradually add sugar and beat until mixture is very fluffy.

    Slowly beat in cooled milk mixture and vanilla.

    Spread on cake.
