  • 3 lb. chili meat
  • 1 small head garlic (not clove)
  • 1 onion
  • 5 to 6 chili peppers
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 pt., plus 1 c. water
  • 2 cans tomato sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 2 Tbsp. cumin powder
  • 1/2 c. oats

Directions

    Fry garlic, onion and chili peppers until lightly brown.

    Add meat and brown.

    Add water, tomato sauce, chili powder and cumin powder.

    Cook for 30 minutes.

    Cook longer for better flavor. Last, add oats to thicken.
