- 1 lb. bulk sausage
- 1/4 c. salad oil
- 1/2 tsp. basil leaves, crumbled
- 1 c. plain croutons
- 5 c. romaine, torn into bits
- 5 c. iceberg lettuce, torn into bits
- 2/3 c. vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 c. sliced green onion
- 1/2 c. sliced ripe olives
- 4 Tbsp. sugar (added to dressing, optional)
Directions

1In skillet cook sausage, stirring to separate into bits. Remove meat.

2Pour off all but 1/4 cup of fat drippings.

3Add vinegar, oil, Worcestershire sauce and basil. Heat until boiling.
