- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 3 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 cup raisins
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C).

2Beat oil, sugar and eggs. Add molasses, vanilla, and water.

4Drop by teaspoons on cookie sheets sprayed with non stick spray.

5Bake for 15 minutes. Cool tray slightly before removing.
