Winter Fruit Salad

- 4 large pitted prunes, halved
- 1/4 tsp. ground allspice
- 1 small orange, peeled
- 2 c. cubed fresh pineapple
- 1 medium banana, sliced
- 1 small red apple, cored and cubed
Directions

1In small saucepan, place prunes and allspice with 1 cup water. Bring to boil; reduce heat to low and simmer 10 minutes.

2Set aside to cool.

3Cut orange over medium bowl to catch juices.

4Add remaining fruits and prune mixture to bowl and stir gently to mix. Serve at once, or cover and refrigerate.

5Makes 10 servings.
