  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. Crisco or Spry
  • 2 1/2 c. oleo or butter
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Blend flour and milk. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens; cool. Cream the shortening, butter and sugar until fluffy. Add vanilla and salt.

    Beat in flour mixture in portions until soft and fluffy with electric mixer.
