- 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 1/2 c. light brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. blackberry jam
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 c. milk
Directions

1Cream butter until light, then gradually add both sugars. Beat until fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time.

2Stir in the jam. Combine flour, baking powder and cinnamon.

3Add milk and flour mixture alternately, beating well after each addition.

4When mixture is smooth, pour into a greased and floured 10-inch square or similar capacity pan and bake in a preheated 350° oven 35 to 40 minutes.

5Cut into squares and serve warm with Bourbon Sauce.
