  • 1 stick butter (no substitute)
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. white corn syrup
  • 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. pecans

Directions

    Cook slowly until soft ball forms at 240° on candy thermometer.

    Add vanilla and pecans.

    Pour into buttered pan; cool and cut into 3/4-inch squares and wrap in wax paper.
