- 1 tsp. cornstarch
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- pie crust for 1 crust pie
- 16 oz. sweet potatoes (canned, whole)
- 1 Tbsp. peanut butter
Directions

1Drain 1/2 cup syrup from the can of whole yams.

2Put yams in circle slices; mix cornstarch with yam syrup, lemon juice and peanut butter.

3Put a layer of yams on bottom.

4Pour on half the liquid mixture, then repeat.

5Cover with pie crust and bake for 20 minutes at 400°.

6Serve hot.
