Yams On The Half Shell

- 4 large yams
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 3/4 c. orange marmalade, divided
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/4 c. chopped nuts (if desired)
Directions

1Bake yams at 375° for about 45 minutes.

2Slice off top 1/3 and scoop out.

3Add all other ingredients except 1/2 marmalade.

4Whip with beater; replace in shells.

5Bake 15 minutes and drizzle with remaining marmalade during last 5 minutes.

6(Can be done ahead and frozen, but better to refrigerate, set out at room temperature a while before baking last 15 minutes.)
