Ingredients
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 lb. flour
- 1/4 c. dry milk
- 1/2 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1/2 Tbsp. salt
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 pt. warm water
- 1/4 c. sugar
Directions

1Dissolve yeast as directed.

2Combine with sugar, set aside. Sift together dry ingredients.

3Work in shortening.

4Add liquid mixture (yeast mixed with water and sugar).

5Add extra flour as needed to make workable.

6Roll out/ cut with biscuit cutter. Place on baking sheet.

7Brush with melted butter.

8Let rise until double in size.

9Bake at 450° for 15 minutes.
